Poetry: May 2005

"Untitled"
5-18-05

Light that
Has burned with tenderness
Heart swells
Changing from meaningless
She smiles
Everyone sees her beauty
She tries
To find a way
Someone
Who's a little bit less manly

I fell
Coincidentally beside her
I covered
Her from the insects biting her
With her heart
She opened my inner beauty
Kissed my
Cold tears away
Now I
Know something worth craving

This is something that will be proved
I'm not afraid of what I will do
I won't hurt you this will show soon
Fate is real and it is you

If I may I'd like to say a couple words
Hoping that it is unlikely
If I poison the flower, let us heal
Please don't take you away from me

"A Simple Treasure"
5-22-05

I sit here in my steamy bath
And scents intoxicating
Thinking of the past and
How it applies to present
The flickering candle imitating
The ups and downs of love's history
Wanting to hope and dream alike
Yet history's taught a slight paranoia
Curious of the presence of delusions
Is what I read from this authentic
Trying to keep fairness alive with purity
Present is not exactly the past
History repeats itself they say
But maybe all this agony will be rewarded

From a young boy, I day dreamt vividly
Just a simple treasure to hold and cherish
With a soul inside so beautiful none could deny
Yet when presented I feel scared knowing my openness
Why do people seek to hurt us and ruin
Probability with those we've yet to meet
My biggest fear exists as turning the one away
Due to some stupid fear of repeating history
If only I could express without jeopardizing
That I fear you as much as welcome you
The battle that lurks invisibly behind my eyes
I trust your honesty but admit that experiences
Can change what a person said they would never do

Lift me up high
Prove me wrong inside
Teach me something new
Lead me from my paranoia
Lift me up high
Prove to me love still exists
Teach me your validity
Lead me into your universe

Lead me through the galaxies
Touch my brittle heart, caress
Everything you say you like in me
Please ease this feeling inside of me
